As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to site needs with professionalism. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or operations location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and observations in required reports.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a positive, orderly environment.
