About The Position
Provides security for patients, employees and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets and premises as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Sufficient previous experience to perform security and safety operations.
- South Carolina Drivers License or applicable state drivers license required.
- A clear criminal record, verified in a background clearance by SLED(South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) at hire, updated annually.
- SC SLED License for private security required within probationary period.
- Certification in Non-violent Crisis Intervention required within probationary period and with annual re-certification.
Nice To Haves
- BLS certification preferred within probationary period.
