Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and/or credentials, issue visitor passes, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to Allied Universal leadership and/or client contacts.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, handle inquiries, and help to support a professional front desk presence while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to access activity, incidents, and daily front desk operations.
