As a Security Officer Morning Shift in Alcoa, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery check-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Communicate with staff, drivers, vendors, and visitors regarding site access requirements, screening expectations, and/or directions while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident records.
