As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help support a welcoming, secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, monitoring access activity, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing access badges as directed, and reporting access-related concerns.
  • Observe incoming and outgoing traffic, deliveries, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting facility operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and document activities accurately.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and access points, while reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
