Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, screening visitors and deliveries, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing timely information with the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help support security-related operations within a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for access irregularities, unsecured areas, and conditions that may require security-related follow-up.
