As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Monitoring in Plymouth, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support a welcoming environment, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a healthcare and laboratory location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted laboratory-related spaces.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site policy.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance or hazard-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
