As a Security Officer - Financial Corporate Building in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and/or report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support closing, opening, and after-hours routines as assigned, which may include checking doors, lighting, and/or other designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
