As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Console in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and contribute to a caring culture built on teamwork and integrity. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor, vendor, and delivery personnel credentials as directed, and document entries and departures according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities.
