Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A current guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
Support operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by observing site conditions, communicating clearly with supervisors and/or local contacts, and following post instructions for assigned duties.
