Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One (1) year experience with an organized security department, law enforcement agency, or experience with security duties.
  • Successfully pass background check and drug test required on the contract.
  • Current, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Transport students to work-based learning sites, college, airport, and other activities. Must be able to work all shifts.
  • Ensure the physical security of buildings and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment. Maintain log of findings and corrective action taken.
  • Monitor and direct urinalyses and Breathalyzer as required.
  • Assist in transporting ill or injured students as required.
  • Respond to fire alarms, take necessary steps to report fires, assist in suppressing fires, and reset fire alarm equipment.
  • Operate passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/or packages. Ensure adherence to established schedules.
  • Ensure proper student/visitor checkout and procedures are followed.

  • Pay: $20.74/hour plus an additional $5.09/hour (up to maximum of 40 hours per week) used to offset the cost of elected benefits
  • Eligible to participate in company 401(k) with Company matching after 1 year
  • Minimum of ten days per year. Actual days are based upon your Service Date
  • Accrued sick time at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, capped at 56 hours per year
  • 12 paid holidays per year.
