As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Mount Holly, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic automotive location. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel entering restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
