About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling a variety of locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves frequent interaction with client employees and guests, conflict resolution and de-escalation, and use of technology devices throughout the shift. The officer conducts property tours and performs other duties of a similar nature and scope as required at the assigned site. This is a full-time position based in Chandler, Arizona, with 12-hour shifts and a wage range of $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Arizona Guard Card required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and help maintain a safe and secure environment.
Control access and patrol assigned locations.
Preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area.
Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow all post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Perform other duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
