About The Position

As a part-time unarmed mobile driver security officer in a residential community in Santa Clara, California, you will help safeguard residents, visitors, and property. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible security presence, provide customer service, and report observations. The role includes scheduled shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Allied Universal offers access to additional shifts through its Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential building exteriors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and assist with directing residents, guests, delivery personnel, and vendors.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate with site management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership when required.
