About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Documentation in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, reporting unusual conditions or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
