Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol Assessment
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to conduct vehicle patrols at a warehouse in Bernville, Pennsylvania. The role serves and safeguards clients in logistics and distribution by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a current, valid driver’s license. Officers are expected to provide customer service and communicate clearly while upholding the company’s values. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour. Employment is conditional on applicable background and drug screening, and licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.
Requirements
- A current, valid driver’s license is required for this driving position.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the property perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Follow post orders and maintain accurate activity reports to support a professional and orderly logistics and distribution location.
