As a Security Officer Afternoon Biopharmaceutical Company Mobile Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a healthcare location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and life sciences location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, including exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials, maintain required logs, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.
