About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking Full and Part-Time Security Officers for their College Station site. This role involves deterring criminal activity, protecting property, and enforcing rules. Specific positions include Rover (patrolling and preventing crime), Gatehouse (managing access and greeting visitors), and Front Desk (customer service, access control, monitoring CCTV, and package distribution). Requirements

Must live in College Station.
Must have 1 year of Security Experience.
Must have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO COMMUTE TO WORK ON TIME.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Must maintain a professional character and demeanor.
Be a Team Player.
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to commit to the schedule you choose.
At least 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be able to stand for up to 8-hour periods.
Must be able to do extensive walking and stair climbing.
Must be able to lift up to 10lbs.
Valid state licensing, if applicable.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with report writing.
Monitoring and surveillance experience.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in security or customer service fields.
Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS!

Responsibilities

Deter criminal activity, protect property, and enforce rules.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position.
Patrol areas and conduct security checks.
Provide protection for equipment and workers.
Check credentials of vehicles and individuals entering and leaving premises.
Perform foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.
Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, and announce visitors.
Control access to the property.
Acknowledge and greet all guests with courtesy and urgency.
Provide customer service.
Monitor CCTV camera systems.
Distribute packages.
