About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned property, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring approach.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial property.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
