As a Security Officer Badge Verification Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging requirements, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor passes, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries according to post orders and location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, control points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation related to access activity, incidents, inspections, and/or security-related observations.
