About The Position

City Security Services is hiring a professional, dependable, and alert Security Officer to patrol a gated residential community in Houston, Texas. The role includes vehicle and foot patrols, monitoring resident and visitor activity, responding to security incidents, and maintaining a visible security presence throughout the property. The ideal candidate enjoys active patrol work, pays close attention to their surroundings, remains calm under pressure, uses sound judgment, and handles emergencies professionally and confidently. The position is part-time and overnight, scheduled for 12 hours per week: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $17 per hour. Requirements

Active Level II Security License or the ability to obtain one.
Active driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight shifts.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, use sound judgment, and handle emergency situations professionally and confidently.
Professionalism, dependability, alertness, and close attention to surroundings.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout a gated residential community.
Monitor resident and visitor traffic entering the property.
Conduct perimeter checks of community amenities, parking areas, and common spaces.
Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
Contact law enforcement, fire, or EMS personnel when emergency situations arise.
Respond professionally to resident concerns and provide assistance when appropriate.
Verify guest access and assist visitors with directions as needed.
