As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Image Review in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, support access control processes, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen authorized personnel, packages, and cargo entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Verify access credentials and inspect items as assigned to help deter unauthorized entry and prohibited items.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned operational areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
