Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control functions. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policy, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations, directing people during urgent situations, and reporting conditions that may impact operations.
