Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This role combines customer service, communication, and mobile patrol responsibilities in a fast-paced hospital environment. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and maintained.
  • Ability to work in and around a hospital morgue is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to restrain individuals is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assisting with visitor direction, entry activity, and other security-related support functions according to site expectations.
  • Support daily operations by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues observed during patrols and interactions at the location.
