Full Time Second Shift Security Officer
About The Position
KRE Security, LLC is hiring Unarmed Security Officers for a permanent weekend assignment in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for dependable officers seeking part-time weekend work, consistent hours, and a professional, structured environment. This is a non-rotating post with clear expectations and predictable duties. The schedule is Full Time, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. The role involves maintaining a visible, professional security presence during swing shift hours, conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, alarms, and site conditions, observing and responding to incidents, completing daily activity and incident reports using Belfry Software, and enforcing post orders, site policies, and standard operating procedures. Clear communication with supervisors, site contacts, and fellow officers is essential.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience preferred, not required, in: Unarmed security, Military service, Law enforcement
- Familiarity with patrol operations, access control, and incident reporting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- Required in-person orientation prior to assignment
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional security presence during swing shift hours

- Monitor access points, alarms, and site conditions
- Observe, document, and respond to incidents or safety concerns
- Complete daily activity and incident reports (Belfry Software)
- Enforce post orders, site policies, and standard operating procedures
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, site contacts, and fellow officers
