About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol driver for an assigned manufacturing and industrial site in Granville, Ohio. The role offers a fixed weekly schedule that requires a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Employees may work part-time hours or pick up shifts toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $17.83 per hour.

The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responds to incidents and alarms, conducts unarmed patrols, monitors access and visitor activity, and accurately documents patrols and observations. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening, to the extent permitted by law. Applicable licensing may be required under state or local rules.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy and for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or security concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
