You will manage access, observe entry activity, assist with X-ray screening as needed, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a retail warehouse location, assisting visitors, members, vendors, and employees in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and communicate entry requirements to help support security-related operations.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide general directions or information, and promptly route inquiries to appropriate site personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Observe front-desk activity, document incidents or unusual occurrences, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
