As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Screening in Fort Worth, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries entering or exiting the location, verifying authorization and reporting irregular activity according to site protocols.
• Monitor access points, inspect badges and/or credentials, and document visitor or vehicle information as required for the post.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
