About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a government site. The role involves providing customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies and incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

This is a full-time position with weekday and weekend work and all-shift availability. Starting pay is $24 per hour. Paid orientation and training are provided, along with career growth opportunities. Applicants must meet the applicable age and education or experience requirements and may be subject to background investigation and drug screening. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, depending on applicable state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
