Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting relevant details and following established communication protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gates, loading areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access-related records, and support screening processes for deliveries, contractors, and/or vendors entering the location.
