As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Detail in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access expectations, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location and communicate with visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while documenting relevant activity in daily logs and incident reports.
• Support property operations by observing building conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating with local contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
