As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Dispatcher in Freeport, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor radio, phone, alarm, and/or camera communications from the dispatch post, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, critical situations, and/or service requests by prioritizing calls, dispatching personnel, and communicating updates to appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, noting key details that may support follow-up and compliance with site protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by monitoring access-related information, reporting unusual conditions, and supporting security-related operations across the location.
