As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Screening in Edison, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, documenting security-related activity, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, deliveries, and authorized items entering and leaving the manufacturing and industrial location in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify identification, credentials, and access authorization, and direct individuals to appropriate check-in areas or site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
