As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Support in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain professional communication with healthcare personnel, and support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
