As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Assessment in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to residential incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and resident activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Document incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
