About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Preparedness in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a telecommunications and technology location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access activity and follow visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
