About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology-focused location in Whitsett, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment and use computer or tablet tools as needed. The role is part-time and pays $16.89 per hour. Scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and support visitor management, including verifying credentials, directing guests, and maintaining required logs and documentation.
Observe and report unusual activity, facility issues, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
