About The Position

KRE Security, LLC is hiring a Full-Time Security Officer for a consistent, non-rotating second shift schedule in the Reading area. This is a permanent, year-round position designed for individuals seeking stability, predictable hours, and long-term employment with a trusted company. This role is ideal for someone who works well independently, maintains professionalism in a variety of situations, and is looking for a dependable weekly schedule without rotating shifts. This position offers an immediate opening and hiring is taking place this week. The schedule is Monday – Tuesday from 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and Thursday – Friday from 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. The compensation is $16.00 per hour plus a shift differential.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and stay alert throughout the shift
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional demeanor and dependable work ethic
• Must be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Security experience is a plus, but not required (paid training provided)

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property and maintain a safe, secure environment
• Conduct routine patrols throughout the shift
• Observe and report any unusual activity or safety concerns
• Complete clear and detailed incident reports
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence at all times
• Provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed
