As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Unit in Glen Allen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
Support opening and closing activities, maintain a visible presence throughout the location, and assist with customer and staff inquiries while following Allied Universal standards and site procedures.
