Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations through established procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
