Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, tenants, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, tenant spaces, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report irregular conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site requirements.
