As a Security Officer in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, offices, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor public areas and restricted locations for unusual activity, assist with reporting and documentation, and support emergency response activities according to post orders and client guidelines.
  • Assist with access control, directional support, and general inquiries while maintaining awareness of site activity and reporting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious incidents.
