Requirements

Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and production personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a media and technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, studio or production spaces, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and/or authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors and helping to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior.
