You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health-related situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, access control procedures, and direction-giving in accordance with site requirements.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
