Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol officer for a retail and mall location in Racine, Wisconsin. The role involves driving patrols and maintaining a visible security presence to help deter incidents while providing customer service. A valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving history are required. The position pays $18.50 per hour and follows a daytime schedule of 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The officer will follow site-specific security procedures, respond professionally to incidents and concerns, patrol the property, monitor activity, report unusual conditions, and complete activity reports. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening, where permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local rules.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least one year of driving history.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting policy violations, hazards, and suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
