Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and following site protocols for deliveries and guest access.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing routine reports, noting maintenance or property concerns, and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.
