About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a logistics and distribution location in Kernersville, North Carolina. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, reporting observations, and supporting site operations through customer service and clear communication. Officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

The stated schedule is Tuesday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.24 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, and report observations through required channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor, driver, and vendor check-in processes.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
