This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and clergy by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry points, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control authorized access, verify credentials, and document visitor/vendor activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including communicating with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns, with working conditions that may vary by site.
