Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location, including entrances, exits, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and guest activity, assisting with traffic flow, crowd management, and policy compliance during busy periods, special events, and/or peak business hours.
• Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by observing for suspicious behavior, checking for unsecured doors or unusual conditions, and communicating security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
