Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, support access awareness, and bring an agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first approach through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and/or policy violations by monitoring activity, checking credentials when required, and reporting concerns to site contacts.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel as needed.
